Holidays!
What a waste of time. Only those with tremendous will power make good use of them. I read a couple of books inbetween meeting a lot of friends(i was surprised I had that many). Some Paul Krugman(whose meaty-easy to read books for the layman belie his incomhensible papers. Tried reading one yesterday, got a headache which hasn't yet gone) and T Friedman's, the world is flat. Lot of publicity for Nilekani and his like. All the nice stuff about bangalore relevant for the books intentions, completely avoids the mess my poor city is in. Honestly as capable bangalore is technology wise to attract more business, otherwise wise it's a tragedy. 2 and a half hours to travel to office everyday is not a joke. Tata's should manufacture cars fitted with video conferencing so half the business can happen en route to work.
All except 3 of my classmates are placed in bangalore. As happy I am that I can always meet up with them, my heart bleeds at the thought of more congestion on the roads. Well I'll continue my lamenting a little later. Got class now..

babydoll! ok, now i'm confused. I thought you were coming home for new years. were you even in india at all. And what classmates are these? didn't you have like over sixty of them, some of whom I'm sure even you wouldn't recognize on the street - not that that's saying much, you being the original space baby.

oh. these are my school classmates. all those engineers..was in india for about a little more than a week. met swat cat! we went on a toytrain, a rotating ponies and columbus. I felt so giddy. sob! i told swotty i was getting ol'.jose sent me a frantic orkut message cause she didn't get any of our mails for two weeks..appease her and send one. i'm too lazy
